HEARING AID FEATURE WILL ROLL OUT TO THE GALAXY BUDS 3 PRO & THE GALAXY BUDS 4 PRO

Samsung is rolling out an over-the-counter hearing aid and hearing test feature for its Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds.

Medical Device Certification: The "Hearing Check" (test) and "Hearing Care" (aid) features are certified as clinical-grade software/digital medical devices, having received regulatory approvals from the U.S. FDA and South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).

How it works: Users can take a built-in pure-tone audiometry test through their connected Galaxy smartphone to create a personalized audiogram. Based on the results, the earbuds can amplify sounds tailored to individual hearing needs for adults experiencing perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss.
